Landscape Design

Circulation through the space creates a series of rhythms.
Stepping stones, landings, patios, and careful broad steps across the pond
combine to create excitement in the garden experience.
An axial canal connects
a water spring
to the pond.
This straight edge water feature
through bermed gardens
sets a geometric foundation from which
the organic gardens
play.

Connection of indoor and outdoor spaces, utilization of locally found materials or native plantings, or careful consideration for the use of scale to adjust depth and size of a space are some examples of the thought that would support a successful design.  Careful attention to views from a variety of angles is employed to create a sense of mystery; no single view reveals the entirety of the garden.
